When one of the 3 largest maritime classification companies trusts SNRI …

SNRI, key manufacturer of cryogenic valves embarked on LNG carriers (LNG tankers - FSRU and FSU), holds for 4 years the DNV-GL stamp delegation (one of the 3  world largest maritime classification companies). It means that SNRI is able to carry out the products’ control for the DNV-GL. In other words, the organization is compliant with their procedures and standards.

Since last April, it is up to the ABS classification company (American Bureau of Shipping) to trust SNRI for a 5 years period. The company is accredited to achieve its own inspections with an « internal inspector » and to issue the ABS certification.

Mr Caussines, quality engineer is in charge of the manufactured products control and of affixing the stamps.

Alexandre Caille L’Etienne (Site Manager) : « It is a great victory for the team and the confirmation of our quality and production system maturity – of our products’ quality, we now have an internal inspector and consider to hire a second quality engineer to perform this mission and the load »

Customer benefits are immediate and being autonomous on the ABS and DNV-GL inspection is a substantial time saving, delivery times are reduced.

SNRI currently covers the DNV-GL and ABS stamp delegations. Concerning LR (L’Loyds Register) (the third, oldest and most famous reference Class Society) the process is underway for a certification in June, which would place SNRI  in a unique position of stamp delegation by the three reference « Class Society » … to be continued.
