"At SNRI for over 15 years, I first worked for the machining department on conventional lathes. Then I worked on the numerical control lathe and afterwards on the Trevisan machines before integrating the methods department in 2009.
Today my job consists in programming the machine tools to manufacture a part, according to a defined machining sequence. It is the last stage before production.
This job is fascinating: programming to perform new parts, choosing the right tools, the right technique: that is the most interesting! However, this task can be also very complex: you have to find the tooling, look for the right tag grades with the suppliers.
It is necessary to be rigorous, patient and very careful to do this job: A single mistake can damage a machine.
My biggest success is to have arrived this far without training: today I am a team leader with 2 persons to manage. "
« I began working at SNRI in 2009, first as a France « after sales » office sales representative, then I became business manager. The customer service, which I am a part of, is divided into 3 modules: sales administration, business and project managers.
My missions consist in making quotations, proposing solutions to the customer and performing some cost prices. I am the point of contact between commercial and production. As a technical commercial, I like the contact with customers, the fact of being able to assist and bring them some solutions. A good relationship is necessary to create a true partnership with customers and have a mutual trust.
Some qualities are requested to make this job: it is necessary to be curious, able to adapt and positive to develop a good relationship with customers.
For me, SNRI is an experienced company with a real know-how and a strong development potential. To integrate the company, you have to give the best of yourself and show a real interest in the job! »
